The heat stays long after sunset. Harbour lights stretch across the water, music carries through open doors, and Nassau begins another kind of evening.
A friend in the Bahamas asked me to make a fragrance for him. He loves wood and musk, and he trusted me to choose the rest. I kept thinking about what it means to belong to a place. To move through it with the ease of someone who is already home.
That became the feeling behind Nassau Nights.
It opens bright and clean, with bergamot, lemon and verbena cutting through the warmth. A cool leafy edge and soft powder move through the citrus, then amber and musk come forward. Smooth sandalwood holds it together, with a little vanilla rounding the edges.
I wanted that meeting of freshness and warmth to carry the fragrance. Something polished enough for a night out, with the intimacy of warm skin when someone comes closer.
To me, Nassau Nights is the feeling of stepping out after sunset already at ease in your own skin. The day’s work is behind you. The city feels like yours, and the whole night is still ahead.
