Before I ever became a perfumer, I was searching for a fragrance that reminded me of my brother. I wasn't looking for a specific scent so much as a specific kind of man. He owns a barbershop, carries himself with confidence, dresses with intention, and has a timeless style that never chases trends.

That search led me to Penhaligon's.

I'd never smelled a single one of their fragrances, and honestly, I'd never even heard of the brand before. But the more I read about their history, craftsmanship, and philosophy, the more I thought, "This feels like him."

When I finally started learning perfumery, I came back to that idea.

Without ever smelling a Penhaligon's fragrance or looking at their formulas or note breakdowns, I challenged myself to create something that felt like it belonged beside them. Not a copy, not an inspiration piece, but a fragrance built entirely from my own imagination of what that world should smell like.

The result is Knoble Regard.
